Here are the latest changes in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for July 28, 2026.

Redesigned brand voice and new Knowledge setting in Development Agent (for those in US)

Brand voice has been redesigned and a new Knowledge feature gives you more control over how the Development Agent communicates and what it knows about your organization.

• Brand voice (under Settings) influences how the agent writes — its tone, length, formality, and other style guidelines. Add voice samples such as past donor appeals and thank you notes to teach the agent your communication style.
• Knowledge (under Settings) provides the agent with facts about your organization to reference in communications, such as programs, campaigns, organizational history, and impact stories.

The redesigned Brand voice wizard now walks through three steps:

• Writing guidelines — Set defaults for length, warmth, formality, and urgency, and define words to avoid.
• Voice samples — Add examples of your past communications, such as donor appeals and thank you notes, to teach the agent your style.
• Preview — See a live comparison of non-branded and brand-voice-applied content before saving.

The new Knowledge setting lets you add factual content about your organization — such as programs, campaigns, and impact stories — for the agent to reference when generating communications. Each entry supports a content type, optional valid dates, and a content review schedule to keep information current.

Set payment start dates that match your campaign on Standard Donation Forms

Standard Donation Forms now let you set a start date for recurring gifts and pledges so they align with a campaign launch. When you set a start date, donors can only schedule their first payment on or after that date without risking charges before your program begins.

Link opportunities to gifts in grid batch (for some of you)

You can now link opportunities to gifts directly in grid batch, helping you capture relationships during entry and reduce follow‑up work. After you add the Opportunities column, you can link existing opportunities, create new ones, or associate opportunities from different constituents, including linking multiple opportunities to a single gift. After you approve the batch, the system automatically applies these links to the gift record, improving accuracy and streamlining high‑volume gift processing workflows.

Enter Stock/property gifts in grid batch

A new gift type of Stock/property is available in grid batch so you can capture stock gift information. After you add the Stock details column, you can enter the issuer, symbol, units, and average price per unit without leaving the grid. You can also include the Stock details column in batch templates to streamline data entry.
