Entering Gifts from Optimized Giving Form

We've recently started experimenting with Optimized Forms created through NXT, whereas in the past we've only used Standard Forms in Database. What is the best way to enter gifts from the Optimized Form into RE? With the old setup we would have them organized into batches since they came through OLX in Database. Is there some equivalent for Optimized Forms? Do we have to just enter them one by one directly into the donor's record?

Both web view forms do the gift entry for you, the batches already exist and the gifts are already in them. Checks the Gifts Needs Attention for the constituent matching if you've turned it on, and you probably should, and then go to the batches and review and "approve" them and they'll be on the constits' records.

As Bill has said the batch entry will already be done for you. You can only access the batches in web view.

Wendy is correct, but I would clarify that the batches resulting from online giving must be reviewed and approved in web view; you will be able to see the batch in db view (there is a separate batch folder for web view gifts). And you will certainly see the gifts on constituent records in db view.

Thanks all for the helpful answers. I do wonder how long Batches in DB will go on…I guess I'm too used to doing it the old school way. I'd imagine Standard Forms built in Web view function the same way.

@Joseph Kim , BB told us this week that nothing further will be removed from the db view until the whole db view is removed, which they're hoping to do in the first half of 2027. Standard and Optimized forms work the same way in the web view with regards to the gift processing, yes.
