If you're using Blackbaud Development Agent today, or just starting to explore what agentic AI could mean for your organization, there's a new home for you here in the Blackbaud Community.

Meet the Agents for Good Community

This is a dedicated space for fundraisers, operations leaders, and social impact professionals who want to go deeper on Agents for Good™ and agentic AI — not the hype, but the practical, mission-driven conversations. Whether you're actively onboarding your Development Agent to engage donors 1:1, or wondering how anyone manages a team of fundraisers and agents at the same time, this community is built for where you are right now.

Why we built this

Agentic AI raises questions that are different from anything we've navigated before:

  • How do I know when to trust it?
  • What does good human oversight look like in practice?
  • How are donors responding to agents?

Those aren't questions you should have to figure out alone, and the best answers will come from your peers doing this work alongside you. The Agents for Good community will be the place for candid peer conversations from organizations at every stage of agent exploration and adoption.

Who this is for

Current Development Agent customers and those interested in learning more about the agent from peers using it are encouraged to participate. If agentic AI is on your radar, or if you want it to be, you belong and I hope you’ll join us.

Comments

  • Welcome to the Community, Agents for Good™!

  • Bobby from Norton Healthcare (Louisville, KY) here. We're experiencing rapid growth across our staff, our donors, our programming, and our initiatives. I'm interested in seeing how Agents can help us better understand our mid-to-low-level donors, and keep a continuous flow of meaningful outreach to them.

  • @Bobby Steurer this is a great discussion to put in the community!

  • Greetings from Atlanta, GA! I am implementing a matching program for a Fortune 250 company and need some feedback on what other company our size is doing in that arena.

@Venitia Smith What info are you looking for? Promoting MG to your constituents who work for the company? Verifying orignal gifts? Methods for getting payment and records from company regarding MG? Are you working with a 3rd party processor like Benevity or YourCause? Processing MG from the company into RE?

And not sure how to interpret "our size"?

    More details would be helpful.
