Table formatting disappears when I insert a saved requirement_view into email

Why does table formatting disappear when I insert a saved requirement_view («Require_Views_Requirements_View_for_Template») as a merge field into email? The view correctly displays if I add in to a letter or write-up. However when I add it to an email, the table disappears and the view is useless. Is this a known limitation or is there a solution anyone can share?

Hi @Matt Schoenstein I did check with my team on this. They let me know that it is a known limitation. Emails are plain text, so the formatting of a table is not supported.
