We recently transitioned from Ellucian Colleague to Workday. For our last scholarship cycle, our IT team successfully imported student data from Colleague into Blackbaud Award Management. We are now exploring how to complete that same import process from Workday.

Has anyone successfully implemented a Workday-to-Blackbaud Award Management import and would be willing to share documentation, lessons learned, or best practices? We are looking for guidance beyond the standard Blackbaud documentation.

    Hi Corey. We are starting our 2nd year of using Workday Student. Is there something specific you are looking for? We are still learning and adjusting.

    We have our system configured to automatically send awards to Workday during the evening orchestration. This takes place in the post-acceptance menu when I change the applicants' category from "Submitted" to "Awarded".

    Hi Lori,

    Thank you for the response. We had to process Fall awards manually due to a tight timeline. Our original plan was to award students through an EIB, and we also have Foundation awards that are awarded outside of Blackbaud.

    It's good to know this is possible. We went live with Workday on July 1, so Blackbaud has not been our primary focus. If you have any documentation on the awarding process or data imports, I would appreciate anything I can share with my director and IT team.
