My husband actually commented "we've gotten into watching this year." Primarily due to our volunteer work with the international students who definitely follow their home countries.
We've watched a variety of teams. Cheered for our Scandinavian background with Norway and Sweden, also the underdogs and long shots.
No prediction. :)

I'm not watching, but I am enjoying seeing the fans attend their first baseball games, etc. on social media.

I am watching as much as I can (former soccer player myself) and while I was rooting for the US of A I like that it gets people interested and engaged. We had a small watch party on campus with some staff members for the England/Norway match last Saturday so that was fun too.
I like Spain's chances, but would be happy with any of the remaining teams.

Having all the Scots in Boston was amazing. All the memes about running out of beer in Boston are cracking me up!

Having spent the past three weeks in Norway, there was no way I could escape World Cup Fever. I was so sad to hear that Norway lost to England in my home town as I was flying back there! Now my sights are on Argentina with our man Messi (who actually lives less than 10 miles from me!)

I haven't really watched a lot. I have enjoyed seeing the international fans experience US culture items and to find out that they are smuggling/bringing back ranch to their home countries. Didn't realize ranch was just mostly a USA thing.

Kansas City Fan Fest was amazing! The spirit of KC has been wonderful. Riding the streetcar with ARG fans singing and dancing was a highlight. Caught many many games on TV! Will have empty feeling when it is all done!

I'm not usually a sports fan but I like the world cup games. Argentina has a good shot.

I was rooting for France, but unfortunately, they didn't make it to the final :( I'm hoping the final is Spain vs. England.

I love a good plot twist; unfortunately, there aren't any really exciting, plot twists left. I would love to see England take it!

I was hoping Norway would be able to stay in. Their fans along with the Scots and Dutch are great.

It has been so fun watching! Even our toddler has been asking to get a soccer ball. Our city served as a host for Czechia team which was also really cool! Excited to see what happens the rest of the wayā¦

I was rooting for England, and I am sad that they have been eliminated. Hopefully, one day the WC trophy will be "coming home" to those many English fans, some of whom have been waiting for nearly 60 years!

My Mum's really been enjoying watching all the of the games - I've even printed a wall chart for her to fill in the teams and scores for each match!
