FE NXT - Utilizing as THE home for Gift Agreement Funds and Information

Hello! We're at a University with about 600 Scholarship/Programs Funds. We've used FE for many years, but have only used the bare bones - we have about 14 Fields that we use in FE.

Do any Orgs use FE for the main source to track/manage their “Funds” - speaking here the donor defined, or campus defined Funds for either Endowed or General Gifts? We've defined about 40 additional fields (longer text on the criteria of the Fund, addendum info, etc) to begin to fully use FE.

Is that a more typical use of FE? Or do you still keep a separate list of information on your funds for tracking scholarships, etc?

Thank you!

It's an interesting idea, I've been toying with using FE for storing that information as well. Right now I've got all of our criteria stored in each project as attachments which has been very helpful. I'm considering exporting all the criteria from our award management software and importing as fields but I haven't come up with a way to store the information that is MORE helpful yet, since I'm sure you have the same problem as us in the variety of fund uses and stipulations. They don't sort or store well into unilateral fields.

Interested to see if anyone else is doing this.
