SKY UX Update

We’re continuing to update and modernize Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, working behind the scenes to update to the latest version of SKY UX—the underlying framework that allows us to deliver a more cohesive user experience across many of our products.

We’ve recently released updates to Journal Entry. You can see product screenshots and learn more about these enhancements by checking out What's New.

The next capabilities we plan to release as part of this effort will include the following areas:

• Payables
• Treasury Bank Accounts
• Expense Management

Upcoming Changes to Bookmarks

As we continue to update Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT to the latest version of SKY UX, we want to make you aware of potential changes to existing bookmarks. For example, if you bookmarked a specific invoice record, you might be redirected to the Invoice list page instead.

Once you reset the bookmark, it will remain in place. This will only affect bookmarks to specific records and should not alter bookmarks to home and record list pages.

What’s New: Custom Dashboards and Insights for Analysis

For more flexibility to consume and share data, in Analysis, Dashboard builder, you can now design custom dashboards using out-of-the-box insights.

You can also create new custom insights for analysis. For more information on these recent enhancements, check out What's New.

Important Microsoft Office Changes

Prepare now for February 28 changes to Microsoft Office in Blackbaud Hosting Services.

If you received an email announcing necessary changes to how you access Microsoft Office application integrations within Blackbaud solutions, check out this resource page.

This page includes frequently asked questions and links to Knowledgebase articles to guide your users through any workflow changes. We will update this page regularly to address common questions and share additional resources as they become available.

Treasury API Updates

We added new endpoints for the Treasury API. These new endpoints allow you to mark an external invoice as paid in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT!

End of Support for F9 and ABM

As part of our ongoing product modernization efforts, we routinely evaluate and update features and functionality including access to third-party applications. Please see below for an important update regarding end of support dates for the following applications accessed via Citrix.

This is a reminder that on February 28, 2022, we will end support and access for the following applications:

• Infor F9 (Financial Edge®)
• Questica Advanced Budget Management (Financial Edge®)

To guide your organization through the retirement of these applications, we have Blackbaud Knowledgebase articles about each of these that include replacement options, frequently asked questions, and additional resources. Please refer to these for additional information on: Infor F9 and Questica Advanced Budget Management.

• Release Updates. Check out What's Recent, What's New, and What's Next to get all the details on prior, current, and future releases. To help keep you up to date on the most recent developments, What's New automatically opens when you log in to the web view.
• In-Product Help. Help documentation throughout Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is context sensitive. So, no matter where you are in the solution, you can click the bright green question mark at the top right of your screen to get help for that feature.
