End-of-Year Resources

As you prepare for end-of-year processing and reporting, we wanted to share a few helpful resources.

  • Tax Resources in the Community. The Tax Season Resource page is a great place to ask questions and take part in discussions with your peers.
  • Account Payable FAQs. Accounts Payable (AP) gives you the option to prepare your 1099s and then eFile though Aatrix. Here are the most frequently asked questions (FAQs).
  • Producing 1099s (Video). This video walks through producing 1099s in the Financial Edge.
  • General Ledger FAQs. Here are the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to General Ledger end-of-year processing.
  • Customer Success Webinars. And don’t forget our webinars this month covering 1099 preparations and processing. For more information, including sign-up details, check out the Customer Success Webinars section below.

What’s Next

In upcoming releases of Financial Edge NXT, we will continue to improve and enhance existing functionality, as well as provide new features. We are currently working on several features for Financial Edge NXT web view.

Interfund sets – You will soon be able to add interfund sets in Financial Edge NXT web view! Interfund entry sets are used to transfer activity between accounts in different funds and ensure distributions balance.

Treasury — We’re introducing updates to Treasury's deposits and Miscellaneous (Misc.) Payments in Financial Edge NXT in the coming weeks. Misc. Payments replace Cash Receipts in the database view, so you'll no longer have access to them. Bank accounts, credit card accounts, and Treasury reports are not impacted by these changes.

To learn more about the changes, view the tutorial. If you want to participate in the EAP, click here to complete the survey.

New Insights — For more flexibility to consume and share data, in Analysis, Dashboard builder, you'll soon be able to design custom dashboards using out-of-the-box insights for Treasury and Statistical units.

Receivables – Receivables is currently in our Customer Technology Preview (CTP). We are monitoring your feedback and making enhancements as we prepare for general availability.

Permissions—Manage all user security from web view.
