Holly's Helpful Hints: Networking In The Community Is Easier Than Ever!

Good news! Networking in the Blackbaud Community has gotten easier!
Over the past week, we have introduced a series of changes in the Blackbaud Community. The goal of these changes was to make onboarding into and networking within the Community easier. Here are the three biggest changes we made:
Picking Your Products/Completing Your Profile/Adding a Profile Picture
The first change we introduced was to help keep your Community profile up-to-date. We have consolidated the profile edit page, pick your products page, and upload a profile picture page into one streamlined page. This page is now your one-stop-shop for keeping your information in the Community current.
You can find this new page on your MyCommunity Dashboard or by clicking here.
Take a moment now to visit the new edit profile page and update (or complete) your community profile.

Member Search
The second change we was to refresh and update our member search capabilities.
I am pleased to share that you can now filter a member search by what Blackbaud certifications a member has or what "role" they may have with Blackbaud (Champion, Partner, Employee). We've also refreshed the product interest filters so it's easier to find other Community members who use the same product(s) as you.
Check out our new member search filters and try to make five (5) new friends in the community!

Profile Pages
The third change I'd like to share is on your your profile pages. You have been asking us for an easy way to see Community members’ product interests, certifications, and roles on their profile page and we’ve finally found a good way to do just that! With our most recent updates, you can now see a community member's product interests, certifications, and role(s) listed listed neatly on the left side of a member’s profile page, below their community activity badges.
But there’s more!
If you click on any of the products, certifications, or roles listed on the profile, the link will take you to a page with all the other members of the community with that same product, certification, or role – it’s member search baked right into your member profile!
Check out your profile page and start building out your network by clicking on your products, certifications, and roles to find other community members like you!
