Running current gradebook grades for athletic teams

Does anyone know if there's an easy method to run grades for students participating on sports teams?


Our coaches would like a way to manage students who are failing or at risk of failing academic classes without having to ask for them individually.


I've asked Blackbaud as well but I don't have an answer yet. Any ideas appreciated!

Robin, check out ... Academics > Grades > Gradebook grades list ... and, include the column "teams". The list can not be filtered to include only kids on teams, but, sorting by team show the data you are looking for.

Thanks so much! I only looked for it in the filter, never knew teams were in the columns option. BB support still hasn't gotten back to me so I appreciate it!

We don't give all coaches access to grades.  We set up advanced lists for each team and gave specific coaches access to the list.  This lets them run the report when they want it without making a request. Just remember that the Gradebook Grades (whether in an advanced list or in gradebokk grades list) is not "current".  It is refreshed each night so it will only reflect grades as of the night before.
