Attendance on Transcripts

Hello Everyone - When we moved to the Education products (On Products) last year we did not import attendance from EE.  My understanding is that most schools do not include attendance on transcripts.  We do include attendance on report cards ... just not transcripts.  I would love to hear if you do or do not include attendance on transcripts and why you do/don't.  Thank you!!!

We do not include attendance information on a transcript.  Our view is that the transcript is primarily a statement of academic work completed at our school - not a detailed history of a student's life at the school.  We include courses and grades, honor roll notations, and some academic awards earned.  We don't include attendance records or discipline records, club membership, sports played, etc. We don't include academic credits earned elsewhere.


If another school needs or wants additional information, the student or family can ask us to send it.

We are required by the state to include Days Present on our transcripts. So that is the only piece of attendance piece we include.
