Gift processing question

A donor gives a gift through their employer (payroll deduction, I assume), and the company matches it, sending both the donor's gift and the company match in one check.  But when the company sends both the donor's gift and the match to us, they deduct a processing fee, can we receipt the donor for their full gift amount?  In the information we receive from the company, it lists the donors gift as $195.20 (rather than the $200 given) and the company's match as $200.

Dianne, you may want to check the terms of the matching company to make sure they do not receipt the donor on their end. If they do not, we treat these like any credit card gift where we give full credit and receipt to the donor and the fees are just the cost of doing business.
