Actions in Database View vs NXT

We are revamping how we use Actions (action types, action notes, note types, all of it). But before we make any changes I would like a better idea of how NXT will work with Actions in terms of what the database can do with Query, Reports, etc. Is anyone aware of a resource that could provide a little more insight?

How about what, if anything, doesn't flow between database view and web view?  Like if you make an action in database view, does everything flow over to NXT?
