Recording Donor-advised funds with a tribute

Hello All,


Is there any specific advice on entering donor-advised funds into eTapestry? Is it best practice to enter the donation under the donor advised-fund name and to then soft credit to the actual donor? What if the donor is then making a donation as a tribute? Is it possible to create a chain as follows? - Donor-advised fund name, Donor name, Tribute name


If there is any documentation that would help or suggestions they would be appreciated.

I would like to know how others are entering these donations as well. Right now we do record them under the Advised Fund and soft credit the donor but it starts getting messy if there is a tribute or a pledge attached.
