Code Tables

I recently took a class "Configuring your Database for Success".   In this class we reviewed the Code Tables.  I printed up the report of all of my Code Tables  and am going through to clean-up them up.  There are quite a few tables that I cannot locate in Raiser's Edge and I was wondering if anyone can help.  The one's I can't find are:  Account #, Affinity, Appeal Response, Designation, Event Invitation, Event Participation, Fund Categories, Fund Raise, Recognition Award.  I appreciate any help I can get.

  • Those might be fields
    that were created using other fields that weren’t being
    used.  We do that on the
    bio 2 tab for fields we don’t use and change them to fields we
    need.

  • So you can see the table in Config but you're not sure where it's being used on your records? Some of these might be custom tables specific to your database as I don't think we have all of those in our version, in which case they might be used for attributes?


    Of the tables I can find in our copy of RE, Appeal Response is on the appeals tab of a constituent record, and Fund Categories is found on fund records (not on constituent records).


    As a general rule, if you find the table in Config and click on Table Cleanup, it should tell you on the right-hand side of the cleanup tool where abouts in RE the table is used.
