Is it possible to display Participant Other Donations in Web View?

Hello, 

Long time RE user, but new to NXT, so new to Webview. 


Is there a way to show the donations linked to a participant record, in web view? We run tons of peer to peer events and all sponsoring pledges are recorded as Other Donations against the participant record. 


If not possible, does anyone know of an idea I should vote for, to include this?

Hi!


You are correct in that we don't yet support Additional donations via the user interface in WebView.


Only gifts that have been "applied" to an event participant (from the registration fees tab in database view or via the Add fees/payments form in WebView Events) will show up in WebView today. These will show up as the payments showing on the Fees and payments tile under the Payments section. Any overpayment of registration fees (via the Linked Gift on the registration fees tab of database view)  will be included in the "Additional donation" amount being summed in the screenshot below. Today, gifts showing on the "Additional Donation" tab in database view will not be included in the Fees & Payments tile, either as line items under Payments or in the Additional donation summary since they have not been "applied" to the event - a downfall of database view. 


If you are adding additional donations in WebView from the "Add fees/payments" form under Fees & Payments - where you can bypass adding any fees and just make a payment - this will count as an overpayment of the registration fees and be calculated on the Fees & Payments tile as an additional donation. 


Additional donations ARE included in the revenue calculation from the Event list.


We do not yet have an Idea submitted specifically around a better experience to add additional donations from a participant record but anticipate that need. Our callout to additional donations on the Fees & Payments tile was our first goal towards this.  I would welcome you to add an Idea around this to help us in prioritizing for a future addition!
