Online Applications - Applicant Email Address

Hi, has anyone ever encountered an issue with an applicant setting up their login account with a yahoo email?  We have two applicants one who is @yahoo.ca and one who is @yahoo.com who keep getting an error stating the email account is not valid.

This happened to one of our grantees last year. I don't recall if she had a Yahoo account but she kept getting a message stating the email was invalid. I asked her to try a different browser and it worked.

Thank you Tania for the proposed solution.  In our cases that did not work. 


For those who have experienced the same issue, do you have examples of who the email providers were?


As a work-around, I have tested adding the applicant in BBGM (first name, last name and email only) then the resetting the grantee's password.  However, this is not a practical approach and would rely on the potential applicant contacting us to say they were having problems.
