Historic GPA

We are in the process of converting from EE to K-12 and EE used to store the Cumulative GPA for each year so that you can track the students progress through their time in our school.  We had the ability to show the cumulative GPA for each year on the transcript.  Does anyone know how to a look up what the Cumulative GPA was for each year so we can see the students progression and do you know a way to display it on the transcript for each year?

Thanks for any help

I believe the only way you are going to be able to get historical GPA is to import the all of the historical course/grade records into the new system. That is what we needed to do when we migrated 3 years ago. You actually need all of that course/grade information in the new system if you want to create transcripts. Once the information is in, you need to build out GPA calculations for those past years. A piece of advice: we imported ONLY the courses/grade data needed to begin creating complete transcripts. If the grade data was needed to create a transcript in the next 3 years, it was not imported (read: we did not import any course/grade data for alums or middle school data) - I hugely regret this. Without the information in the system, analytics is a nightmare. I would strongly recommend that your school import as much academic data as possible into the new system - courses, grades, comments, standardized test scores.

    Be safe.
