Globally adding soft credits

I recently identified the connection between an organization record from whom we've received 61 donations and an individual record for the company owner.  I created the relationship between the two records, but discovered that because these 61 donations were already in RENXT before the relationship was created, RENXT will not automatically soft credit the individual's record for those organization gifts.  While I have figured out how to manually get those gifts soft credited to the individual, it is incredibly tedious and time consuming.  It occurred to me that I might be able to export all the organization's gift ID's and attempt to globally soft credit the donor for those gifts.  But I didn't see soft credits as an option within the global add function of database view.  I'm still pretty new to Raiser's Edge and sincerely hope I'm simply overlooking the easy solution to this issue.  I would love any suggestions from seasoned RE users.

Unfortunately, BB/RE does not allow to globally soft credit records. I have recently looked into doing this same process, and after conversation with BB team's they confirmed this. 

It is a process that needs to be done manually.

Not through global but can you not Import the soft credits. Yes, you would need the gift ID #'s.  I'm looking at adding soft credits right now and I forgot how we did it but it was through IMPORT. We needed the SoftCredAmount, Gift Link # and the Soft Credit Receip#
