NXT Emails: Comparing BBNC to NXT

Our organization is looking into the capabilities of NXT Emails due to restrictions and issues with Blackbaud NetCommunity. Is anyone currently using this for email marketing campaigns? I'm curious if:

• NXT Emails allows the use of conditional content, and if the merge fields function differently than BBNC emails.
• The organization information that's entered into the email settings will populate on every email, but will be editable to support different footer information (i.e. email sent from our annual giving team will have different footer info than our alumni relations team, but we operate under the same org). 
• Analytics provided are better than those available in BBNC
• Emails deployed by NXT will populate on a constituent's record, as it does when sending from BBNC using a query.
• Anyone has had success setting up an automated series using workflow designer based on visitors to BBNC online gift forms or lapsed donors

Hi Crystal George‍, 


While we have not used BBNC in a couple of years, I think you will find that it is much more robust than NXT Email at this point. The only point I can say for sure is you will NOT be able to edit the footer information. It is the same for all emails.
