BBGM and Power BI Integration

I am curious if any Blackbaud Grantmaking users are also using Power BI? If so, how do you work to integrate the two systems? There is no direct integration and am curious if anyone is using an API or some other way to push data from BBGM to Power BI. We are just looking to see if there is a better, more streamlined way beyond exporting/importing using Excel.


Any thoughts, insight, etc. are much appreciated.

We use Power BI as well and I'd be interested in what others are doing to integrate BBGM and Power BI.

We use PowerBI Pro to publish BBGM data to a private website for our Advisory Councils' use. We use Excel as the intermediary to integrate data from 3rd party sources. Now that the export templates are completed, it is not terribly onerous to export. Though it is a manual process to update it currently, we expect to automate the publishing portion of it next year. Our grant cycles are such that we don't need it to be dynamic in the truest sense of the word.

I am also interested in this. Blackbaud have released a Power BI connector for Raiser's Edge which I have just activated pretty easily. Now BBGM is on Sky I wonder if BBGM data will be made available for a live Power BI connection in the near future. It would be great to have ASAP as we transition to using BBGM Sky View full time.
