In Raisers Edge, I have two attribute tables which have values for Digital Medium and Source, which can be selected in the Gift tab Attributes. I have set up SQL query to include these values but cannot seem to find the link from the Gift table through to these attributes which are held in the TablesEntries. This I can link to the Codes table but then there is a gap to the main tables.

Any ideas.

Looks like the GIFTATTRIBUTES.PARENTID links to GIFT.ID, and the GIFTATTRIBUTES table has the TABLEENTRIESID.  I think this should get you the info you need, hopefully.

Brilliant just what I needed. Now your on a roll any chance you know how the table RecurringGiftActivity links with the main Gift table?

Hi, both the PAYMENTID and RECURRINGGIFTID on the RECURRINGGIFTACTIVITY table link to the GIFT.ID field. 


You can also find this information in the RE schema, which you should be able to find on your C drive or wherever your RE was installed: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Blackbaud\\The Raisers Edge 7\\Help\\RE7Schema

I think James was just referring to the schema not being updated, not anything against you.   Just keep that in mind if you can't find something in the schema. Feel free to post any other questions you might have, even with the schema it can still be a challenge to figure out. Would love to hear how you are using the info, what kind of report, what report writer are you using, etc?
