Deleting media files

Is there a way to delete a large # of media files. 


We have about 200 records with files that were added via db view but not linked correctly and cannot be opened. They were added by one user over a period of time.


I do not see media as an option in global change or I missed it.  Any suggestions or a work around.  Another of those clean up projects hanging out there.

I'm sorry, I don't see any way to do that through Admin. The closest I could come was pulling a list of records containing guilty Media files in a Query, and then going down the Query results to manually delete. Still faster than looking them up individually, but not as fast as an Admin solution.


It would be nice if one could Admin on Media files, as well as Query on NXT attachments. I tell all our staff not to use NXT attachments, because they cannot be backed up for data loss; they cannot be transferred when merging constituent records; they cannot be Queried on or even built into a list filter in NXT for any type of searching or reporting. Media is a little better, though clunky to use.
