If possible it would be really helpful to be able to close the action in the work flow.  For example if I send out a mailing list to 100 donors I then have to go into every record and close the action.  Could you look at adding this in?

    Hi Sarah, I agree.  It would be nice if the workflow could kick out a Closed Action in the workflow.  In the meantime, you might want to look into creating Global Actions in the database view.  You CAN create closed Actions there and apply to a List.  We've been using that function on our end and has saved us timed.  You can also create Global Opportunities in database as well.

    There is an idea bank where suggestions such as this can be added.  I recommend searching first to see if someone has already added it.  You can chime in with any additional comments about how this would be useful to you to strengthen the case, or simply add votes to it.  Then feel free to promote it both here and on the Raiser's Edge Facebook User Group, if you have a Facebook account.


    It is a good idea and something that has prevented a lot of people from using workflows, from what I've seen.
