Survey with autologin=true and yet all responses anonymous/not capturing responses on constituent record

We've done an annual survey for last 4+ years and had no issues - this year, all replies coming in as anonymous & constituent record not updating.


Support case open, but Blackbaud not able to determine why - anyone else have similar issues?

    Hi Jennifer,

    On your Survey settings > 1. Identify Survey > #8 is "Yes, allow the same person to submit this survey more than one time Step 8." checked?


    Presumably you have a Constituent Registration question. Have you reviewed the settings on that question? Find the question. Click Edit. Go to step 2.d. Select Layout and Processing Options. It should show you the following options:

    1. Field Layout

    2. Registered Constituent login prompt

    3. New Constituent Login Information

    4. Automatic Log In of New Constituents

    5. Response Processing if Duplicate Email Address is Detected or Constituent is Logged In


    One of these might the reason. If not, then have you checked to see if your survey has any bugs or errors? I hope this helps.
