Tracking Missing Documents

I am trying to figure out a way to track documents that were not submitted prior to interview, but are required before they can receive a contract. I don't like to move applicants through to interview without all require docs and records submitted, but sometimes families have a valid reason that they can't obtain something and it has to be waived for the time being. We currently use the Committee Review feature so most everything is digital. I was thinking of a status that could be added or a step on the checklist that could be marked. We currently only use the statuses of Inquiry, Applicant, Interview and Decision. I need to be able to separate them from the students that are receiving acceptance letters and contracts.

  • Hi Kari, you can have a milestone that is marked "no change" for the status, then add any checklist steps that you want without impacting your admissions process. I would add it to the bottom of the checklist.

  • Kari Skolik‍ - we essentially do what Sarah Bienvenue‍ suggested below. This allows us to show that they are Awaiting while allowing the candidate to move to the next status. We have set us an entire Admin/Misc section to capture all sorts of things that might be speed bumps for advancing the candidate.
