FE and RE Integration Stock Donations

We have FE and RE and have been receiving a lot more stock donations recently and I know our current process with stock donations is not utilizing the tools in FE and RE. I would love to hear your process on entering stock donations in RE and posting to FE.     Hi Julie. We enter the gift with a gift code for stock gift. The RE GL distribution has an account code for stock that matches our FE stock account code. Be sure that if you are using projects that the project is set to allow that account code for stock gifts.

    We do the same as Tracy. We enter and sell the stock in RE and have GL accounts set to work with FE. We use a clearing account for Gains/Losses. Setting up the accounts and having the stock gifts entered correctly took some trial and error but we have had the system down pat for several years now. The only time we do not sell stock in RE is when we are waiting on donor designation. I am hoping that stock gifts will become easier to adjust in RE/RE NXT. Currently once the gift has been sold some of the edits require us to delete or zero out the original gift and re-enter.
