Filtering Custom Fields in Constituent Lists

It looks like we can now filter on Custom Fields in Constituent Lists... Yay!

But... how can I filter for simple things like "Blank" or "Not Blank" for custom fields (attribute)? Is that possible?

It looks as though the Custom Fields filter in NXT is a positive-value-only filter. That is, you can filter for something that IS there, but not for something that is blank.

Once you have selected your Custom Field in the filters, that filter will show up in the top header of your List. If you then click that button, it will allow you to select which values within that Custom Field you wish to include. For example, if I add a filter for our Major Gifts Attribute/Custom Field, I can then click on that filter again and select whether I want the "Major Gifts - Portfolio" subtype or the "Major Gifts - Prospect" subtype.

To create a query for "not blank", you would basically just need to select all subgroup options within that Custom Field, and click the box that says "Only show selected items".

Let me know if you want screenshots. :-)
