Blended Asks in Opportunities?

Looking for some advice from the community on entering blended asks in opportunities/proposals (ex. asking a prospect for an endowed gift and an annual fund gift).


We currently enter two separate opportunities/proposals, but I am wondering if anyone out there has any ideas of how this might be accomplished in one and still being able to report on the total endowment and total annual fund asks?

Dan Snyder‍ We just had this discussion in our office as we prepare for a comprehensive campaign. After discussing with a consultant, we decided that we will need to create separate opportunities because you can only select one fund, but we are going to use a naming convention where the name starts with "B- Name of Opportunity Endowed", "B- Name of Opportunity Annual" so we can identify when a prospect has a blended giving strategy.

Thanks Lara Couture‍, that is basically our current model, we just would have (1 of 2) or something like that on the end if there are multiple to indicate a blended ask. Since we both use this approach, it must be the best!
