Transactions Codes & Reporting Filters

Financial statement reports have a checkbox on the filters tab to select inactive accounts. It would be great to have a similar checkbox to select inactive transactions codes. I'm assuming that we are not the only organization that is unable to disable transaction codes no longer in use because doing so causes the Financial Statements to be out of balance (specifically in regard to net assets)-- where past transactions with the disabled transaction codes aren't included. Over time, the increasing volume of transaction codes is resulting in potential errors as data entry staff can easily select transaction codes that are disabled.
