Building a Report for specific field content in an applicants Checklist Item: Enrollment Management

Hello everyone! I am still onboarding and am so looking forward to diving deeper into BB! One thing I am trying to figure out (and can't find more info on) is how to pull/build a report for data in a checklist item for an application. One of our checklist items is a teacher recommendation. In the form, we ask the instructor who fills it out to fill in their name and email address. I would love to pull a report at the end of the application season for all names and emails of teachers who filled out the teacher recommendation form so I can e-mail them all a word of thanks for their time. Do any of you have a solution for how to do this? I am signed up for a training, K-12 Core: Basic and Advanced Lists, but am unsure if that will translate over to Enrollment Management. If that training will suffice, great! I thought I may ask ahead of time just in case.

Thank you for your consideration and collaboration on this :)

  • I believe the recommender names are in the works for BB to add to add to the recommendation tile lists. Right now you can pull their email addresses.

    Hi Amber LeJeune‍ -

Are you using the online recommendation forms? If so, you can get the "email address" of the recommender go to Admissions > Admissions management > Process recommendations. There was another post (see below) about adding the name of the recommender to one of the available columns. https://community.blackbaud.com/forums/viewtopic/296/54272

However, right now you can build an advanced list and add the "Candidate Recommendation" option to get the name & email.

  • Thank you so much Bryan,

I am very excited about the opportunities "Advanced Lists" will give us based on your answer. I especially appreciate the photos for clarity, and the linked information from the previous discussion, It is great to know I'm not the only one!
