Customizing the Confirmation Page

Hi,


Is there any way to customize the confirmation page after the donor completes their donation? I know we can add our own text with the transaction details in the form setup, but it is very limited.


My boss sent over an example from another Food Bank and she really likes this option with asking them how they heard about the organization:

I don't know about adding the "check all that apply" option, but I know you can edit the thank you page.

You could always add a link that says, "Thank you for your gift, please take this short survey to answer........"

Lauren Fardella‍ - Based on my knowledge of OLX, what you want to do is unfortunately not possible. If you haven't already, check out the OLX Idea Bank and RE-NXT Idea Bank and make sure your idea is represented.


Alternatively, you could add the question to the main body of the form or place an embedded survey somewhere else on the webpage. It definitely will not look as clean as the shared example from the Food Bank.

There is a way to do it, though it's on the donation page, and not the confirmation page. It's up to your organization if the benefits of having this data outweigh any negatives of possibly making the donation process less straightforward.


I did this at a previous organization to let the donor designate what Appeal they were giving in response to (of a curated and regularly updated list of about 4 or so).


1. In Config>Tables, create a Table of the common options of how they would have heard of you

2. In Config>Attributes, create a gift attribute with a datatype of Table, that links to the table you made

3. Add the gifts attribute table on the "Extras" tab of OnlineExpress.


It's been a while since I've done this, but some tips that I would give is to:

- Make the Gift Attribute optional

- I believe that the table defaults with a blank option - but if not, then have the default option be "unknown" so that you don't get bad data.

Thank you Shane Littleton‍ ! This is exactly what I am now thinking of doing, we had this as an option in my last position, but it was not required and most donors did not answer the question
