Can you backdate when entering a batch

Hi Everyone,

I need to manually enter in batch's in RE NXT. I'm fairly new to NXT.

1) is there a way to back date when entering in a batch(es)?

2) the batch's are showing in NXT web, but not showing in the database view - can the web somehow be merged into the database?

Lisa Reid‍ , I haven't used NXT batches enough to know for certain but in db view you can enter any gift date. Would love to say / assume same option available in web view but everything available/not available for functions doesn't make sense to me.


Batches will go in a folder called Web View Batches. See if this folder was auto created and they are landing there.

We use RENXT batches for some gift entry and all of our online giving. You can change the gift date to whatever you need but will have to change the date on each gift you enter. There is no way to set up default values within the batch like in database view. The batches will show in database view under a fold called Web View Batches. Just know that you can view the batches but can't start a batch in web view and then commit it or edit it in database view. Also, you can't connect gifts to an event, membership, tribute or pledge in web view. This issue along with not being able to set default values is the main reason we have a split process. Our online donations are done through web view but other gifts received in the office are entered through database view. Although, if it is a small batch and just straight-forward donations, we have entered them through web view.
