Update Action Attributes that are modified

Does anyone have any insight on the best approach to update action attributes that are modified? We are seeing that relying on the data modified on the Action API is not reliable, since the modified date is not being reflected when attributes are updated in RENXT Webview. Please let me know if the API has a feature to update attributes based on being modified.
