The "Assigned To" field associated with the Constituent

Does anyone know if the SKY API connector, or the Blackbaud Power BI connector, or even the Power Automate connector, if any of these give you access to the "Assigned To" field/column tied to the Constituent?

When I log into Blackbaud (blackbaud.com), I can create a Constituent LIST with specific columns selected that displays this column on the screen. But I do not see this column when I attempt to use one of the data connector options.

If I save the Constituent LIST that I created while logged into Blackbaud.com, this LIST is available when I'm in Power BI and I use the Blackbaud Power BI connector. But unfortunately, the columns in the LIST that I see through the connector doesn't include all the columns that I see when I log into Blackbaud.com and display the list on screen.

Thank you,

Tom Kroljic

I think you are looking for the Get Fundraiser assignment list. I know this is available in Power Automate (see below), but not as familiar with the Power BI Connector.

  • Dan,

Thanks for the information on the "Get Fundraiser Assignment List". I'll try to access it via Power Automate.

Are you using Power Automate to download any of the Raisers Edge data from the cloud to a local table/database on premise by any chance? I'd be interested to know how you are using Power Automate with Blackbaud.

Again, thanks for the info and responding to my query.

  • Dan,

Thanks for the info on the "Fundraiser assignment list". I haven't looked at the API to see if its one of the available tables yet, but i plan to. not sure why some data might be available through poewer automate and not the Sky API.

  • @Thomas Kroljic, I'm trying to do the same thing in Power BI with a Constituent List. I need to put in a DAX function to filter on Fundraiser. Did you receive any other information?

Good morning. I was out on vacation when you posted your comment.
To answer your question, NO I haven't received any other info on this issue.

@Thomas Kroljic I am sorry I am just seeing this over a year later now. I use Power Automate for a number of things, but do not currently use it to download data to a local table/database. Jeff Austin had a good tutorial at #bbdevdays of how you might be able to achieve something like this, but I have not implemented it fully yet on the several files I export to use in Power BI.

It also looks like the only place you can get fundraiser information is on gift or opportunity records, not constituent records via the API.

@Ben Lambert Maybe you can shed some light on why the Power Automate Connectors allow you to get constituent assignments, but that is not available (at least that I could find) in the API?
