Our coaches would like an app that integrates with our website so it's easier for them to update schedules. The only Blackbaud partner I see that offers this is rSchool Today. Is anyone using their solution or another solution that integrates well with a K-12 website?

Hi Angie. I am a consultant working with a school that is implementing Blackbaud and currently has rSchoolToday for Athletics. I can provide you some of my feedback from my experience working with these platforms.

I'd really recommend you sit down with your Athletics Director and consider how your school is presently managing Athletic data and how you'd like to manage it in the future. Unfortunately it's not as simple as buying an app for schedules - you have to consider teams, coaches, rosters and communications in addition to schedules. You also have to consider whether or not you want this information in both Blackbaud's SIS or just on your public website.

Integrations are the other consideration. rSchoolToday does have an app and does have an integration, but it's only one-way (rSchool to Blackbaud) and only schedules (not team information). Then how would you get that information from Blackbaud to your website (and is there an integration there) or would you bypass Blackbaud and just go straight to the website?

There may be some ways to do iCal feeds and accomplish what you want, but you'd still have to find a scheduling app that allows for iCal feed export. I don't know of another Blackbaud partner that does this.
