Online Express Event forms eliminated the appeal

I don't understand the reasoning behind eliminating the appeal in the OLX event form. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

@Rene Mayginnes - You can set up a template batch with your appeal defaulted within the batch. Then when downloading these event registrations into RE7/DBV, you can choose to create a batch from the template. When opening the batch after downloading the gifts, your default appeal will be listed.

@Rene Mayginnes, what @Austen Brown offers is a great solution for participants that will share the same appeal.

If you had multiple appeals for an event form, you could establish an attribute table, and add that as one of the participant attributes available on the “Field options” tab. That may or may not be helpful to you - but I've used that before for donations pages - to let donors select which appeal they are responding to.
