Attendance - Notes for Absent / Tardy /Early Dismissal

Does anyone use Blackbaud for parents to notify the Attendance Manager when their student is going to be absent, late, or dismissed early? We use a form on our website that our attendance manager then records the information in the daily attendance, but it would be nice for parents to not have to log onto another account to submit a form. I tried using School Forms, but they are designed for requiring a parent to submit a form one time. I don't see how I can use School Forms and allow the parents to submit it multiple times, whenever they need it. It would be nice to have this information attached to the student record also. Any suggestions or comments on how you collect this information from parents?

    Hi Susan, We do not use BB for parents to report absences or tardies. We do the old-school email or phone call. But what a great idea for parents to have the ability to report through BB and have some kind of holding area where the Attendance Manager can then process and save them to a student's record. I'd love to hear other related ideas. Attendance is a challenge in BB.
