Unofficial Transcript

I’m new to the registrar role and am having difficulty finding how to generate an unofficial transcript with a watermark. I have a Grading management role. Thank you for any tips.

I had to create my own file that said "unofficial" and put it as the watermark. I don't see a way with the new transcript builder where the word unofficial will automatically be put on an unofficial transcript.

I am not sure if you are using the old or new transcript builder but in the old builder if you give students or parents access to be able to run their transcripts then the Unofficial watermark showed up automatically. We don't allow access for parents and students to run them, they have to request them from me. I will add an unofficial watermark using adobe acrobat. You could also create a duplicate transcript and put Unofficial where you would put a signature line in the footer. I haven't created a transcript in the new transcript builder because when it was first released I wasn't able to get things to layout and course grades and credits to pull through the way I wanted it so I gave up! I may try again this year because I think the have worked out a lot of issues with the builder that people were having early on. Good luck!

I either put UNOFFICIAL on the signature line using Adobe edit or impersonate a parent or student and generate the transcript that way so the unofficial watermark appears as we do allow parents and students to download transcripts. It would be nice if we who have grading rights could choose to download a watermarked unofficial transcipt!
