Accessing the end point for the credit card Expiry date of a recurring Gift via SKY api

We have successfully been able to call for all the Gift, Constituent and Custom field end points via the SKY api for integration with another platform we are using for marketing supporters. However, one we aren't able to access and keep getting errors on is the credit card expiry date for our recurring gift donors giving by a credit card. BB support has directed me here for help - is special permissions required to access this end point?

Can you provide any more details here? Which API(s) and endpoint(s) are you calling, and what error message are you getting?

Based on your first screen shot, you're calling the ListGifts endpoint in the Gift SKY API. The API response shown in your second screen shot is actually a successful response, not an error.

It sounds like you'd like the credit card expiration date to be returned by that endpoint, but that is not currently supported (if you look at the schema of the response for that endpoint, it doesn't include any expiration details about the credit card on the recurring gift). I don't believe there are any SKY API endpoints exposed that provide credit card expiration details, so please request this functionality by filing an idea on the idea bank:

Thanks for the reply - I've added the idea as you've suggested - I hope it helps:)

The expiry date (and the last 4 digits of the credit card) is easily accessible through the query/export function of the database view, so I thought it should be accessible through the SKY api.

I wonder if its possible to permit this endpoint at the site level?
