Using Opportunities to Track Future Grants and Program Needs in RE-NXT

Our grant funding professional is looking for a tidy way to keep track of Opportunities for upcoming needs in our various programs and in general. These funds are not currently associated with any specific grant funders so creating Opportunities under any of these Orgs or Individual constituent records really doesn’t make sense. Our initial thought was to create these forecasted Opportunities under our own HCS company Org record in RE and then classify the Purpose to the various programs so these would be sortable in Lists and Dashboards.

We are moving away from spreadsheets and using RE-NXT to build very comprehensive and professional reports for our BOD - please help us incorporate our Grant/Major Gifts/Planned Giving too! Thank you in advance! Emma
