Get rid of 'Added via Web View' Action note?

When adding an action via the Create Action endpoint, SKY API automatically adds a note to the action. ‘Added via Web View’ type, with the same date as the parent Action.

My users are complaining about this, since it doesn't serve an obvious purpose and messes up part of their workflow.

Is there a way to prevent SKY API from creating this note when it creates the action?

In case you want more information on how this is causing problems for my users:

In both Web View and Database View, you can see a preview of an Action note without opening the Action itself. In Web view it's right there in the Action tile, in DB view you'll see it in the Actions tab in the Notepad Description column. My users use this for information that needs to be quickly and easily referenced.

If the action was created with SKY API, it now has an multiple notes, which changes that behavior. In Web View, the note with the most recent date is previewed on the Actions tile. In DB View (as far as I can tell), no notes are previewed in the Actions tab if the action has more than one note.

The workaround is to delete the ‘Added via Web View’ note manually, but if there's a way to stop it from being created at all, I'd be interested to know about it.

Hey Ben,

We just took a look at the code here and found that we are adding a note author automatically as part of our code. If there is no note data, we still generate the author and this then creates a blank note with the “Added via Web View” tag. We are going to update our logic to no longer auto assign an author if there is no other note data. This should clear up that confusion. We should have this update out in a week or two.
