Global Campaign Change has Read Only Exceptions--how to change campaign?

Hi and thanks in advance for help!

We inadvertently created two duplicate campaigns with a slight difference in their names, and some gifts have been entered to one campaign and other gifts entered to another (obviously not ideal).

I followed the below article and 48 of the 57 gifts I wished to move were successfully transferred. The other nine got the following error: “The value you supplied for the destination field was invalid: Field is read only.”

Other articles have suggested adjusting or manually changing the others, but I'm not able to edit in database view or NXT (nxt gives the error: ValidationError_25046).

Are those remaining gifts posted? If so knowledgebase article below is for the error message you are getting. Adjustment may be the best option. The campaign can be changed on the split gift tab.

This says in import to mark as new records instead of update existing ones.

This one is in regards to the records being marked posted in the GL field.

Another thought if those options fail, you could do an adjustment-split gifts will allow editing the campaign. ? this works!

It looks like I get the error even when doing split gift. I'm not sure why I'm unable to do an adjustment to these manually, it's very strange!
