Progress Reports by telephone

Our organization wants to move to have a telephone call with grantees, instead of a written 6-month progress report. Has anyone else moved to this? If so, how did you set up the requirement in Grantmaking? What tips do you have for scheduling? Any suggestions are appreciated.

    We dabbled with the idea of this to improve accessibility needs.

    We already have a ‘check in call’ requirement set up in classicifcations - I guess you would just create this against your request instead of the report. (Our reports are Payment requirements so we would create a Check in call requirement as a payment requirement too)

    We also looked at additional software such as Otter AI - something we coud capture the call conversation on - so we still had a document we could upload into the requirement/request when we signed the requirement off. If you are having it as an online call - zoom and teams are able to capture transcripts too.
