Active Contacts of Active Funds Mailing List

Hi,

I need to produce a mailing list of all active contacts of active funds. I tried doing a FUND query/Export which provides me the active funds but no ability to get the mailing address of active contacts. The constituent query/export allows me to get the active contacts with address but not remove inactive funds. Any help would be appreciated.

You could create a gift query where fund is not inactive and attach it to a gift export. From the gift export you would be able to include donor name and address.

Thanks Jeannie. Its not the Donor Name I need, it is the Contact for the scholarship fund that I need

Apologies. If your org has utilized the relationships tab to associate an individual or organization to a fund AND said individual/org has a constituent record in your db, it can be done by a multi-step process.

First query: fund is not inactive and relationship type is whatever value your org has defined. From this query you will be able to isolate the Individual Relationship Import ID. Export the list of Individual Relationship Import IDs.

Second query: individual relationship import ID is one of (paste IDs from export), and output Constituent ID.

Now that you have that, you can connect the query to an export. Remember to include the Fund Description and Fund ID in your export.
