Invalid Payment Processor response

I'm an Infrastructure manager for ACD Direct, and one of our API implementations isn't working. It stopped working February 1st. the only response we get with the cornerstone university implementation is invalid payment response. All of our other API's work.

    Hi Shaun

    Thanks for posting here. We will look for additional details on these 500 error codes to help diagnose the issue.

    I believe we can rule out any authorization issues since a quick glance at the logs shows you have had a successful request made to the card token endpoint.

    I'll update this post once we have more information.

    We believe the reason for these errors stems from the Blackbaud environment that is being used. This particular customer environment is a "Test" environment - BBMS will prevent any Live payments from processing from these environments. We recently enforced this rule on 2/3/22 which is why the errors began on 2/4/22.

    The resolution is to change the Blackbaud environment that is currently being used to the customer's live environment. This is done by the customer adding your SKY application to the correct environment by following this step.

    You are already set up as a Payments user in the live environment, so I don't believe any permission changes are need. You do NOT need to change anything on the payment configuration.

    We are also updating our exception handling to surface the actual 403 Forbidden error instead of the 500 you are currently seeing from BBMS.
