Check numbers not printing

I print checks from web view and it is usually prints the check numbers just fine, but this check run it did not print the check numbers. Is there a new box or filter that I need to click? I know the update changed a lot of things, is this one of them?

Following. This just started happening to us yesterday. Check numbers were printing fine last week.

I think there is a box in the database in the banking screen that says to “print check number” or something like that. You might want to make sure that is still checked. Not sure why it would have gotten unchecked. I'll be checking our since we'll be running checks tomorrow.

Mine did this as well! And my starting check number keeps going to a random number. The alphabetical order that I posted previous seems to be fixed now though!

Yes, I just noticed that our starting check numbers have set to some random number as well. This has never happened before.

In new system if you go to edit the format, you can add it back to print the check number. I just did this and it seemed to work. In old system maybe if you update the starting check number it will carry over to new system(have no tested that). But in old system I had checked “print payment number” and that did not carry over to webview. I have to go in to the format in webview and change that.

While our check numbers are printing okay (for now), the Check Description is no longer printing on the check memo. Settings in both web view and database view are set to print the Check Description on the memo line on the check. I have to hand-print the information on each check now. Doing that on 30-60 checks every time checks are run really can bring out some “choice” words. Seems every “fix” update breaks something else!

We ran checks yesterday. Not bragging by any means, but we ran into no issues. Checks printed in alphabetical order (not by batch), check numbers printed correctly and the description printed fine. Hopefully this is a turn in the right direction.
