Diploma -- other classes

Good evening! We're working on diploma setup for our high school (only high school classes applied to the diploma) and are running into an issue with “other classes”.

We moved to BB in 2020 and imported previous MS and HS classes/grades as historical imports. As we've applied a diploma to some students, a handful of middle school classes are showing in the “other classes” section. Not all of the middle school classes, just 3-6 per student. Is this normal, or is there possibly an issue with how our courses are set up with regards to credits? I'm hesitant to apply diplomas to more students because I don't want to cause any confusion.

This is normal operating procedure for the diploma module. It makes it incredibly confusing for those who are unfamiliar with the inner workings of the system - read: every parent, student. I communicated with @Stephen Boyle that this is not a helpful feature of the module. Hopefully, we will see changes in the months to come.

I'm relieved (and frustrated) that this is the way the system works. Hopefully some changes will be made, because I think this will be helpful for our families. But….our counselors/registrar are concerned about the confusion from the families.

Just wanted to give an update. We have modified the course list in Other Coursework to group the courses by school level. Thus, courses taken in MS are hidden away, conveniently labeled and less intrusive.

There have been several other minor updates on the Requirements tab to improve readability and convenience, so take a look and let us know what you think.
