Best Way to Get Assignments for a Student

Hello there,

I am currently developing an app that needs to pull a student's assignments. I was going to use the “Academics Assignments for Student” endpoint, however it's only accessible by the student themselves. I have 2 questions. One, how would you get the student_id and how would only the student access it. And 2, what other specific endpoints should I use to get a student's assignments if I'm unable to use the aforementioned endpoint.

Yeah, I’ve been working with the IT department, but as of right now I’ve been using the developer cohort in order to test API calls

That call, Academics Assignments for Student, is meant to be called when the student is the user - as with a mobile app the student is using to access their homework. It then limits data returned to only that of the student that is logged in.

If you want to go through student assignments as an admin, you could call Academics Student Enrollment List and then pass the section ids returned form that to Academics Assignments by Section.
